Autumn

We have recovered from the Plant Sale and Open Day- the gathering, labelling, bagging and sorting of 350 + plants as well as getting the garden into good order exhausted us both!

It was very successful, raising £3900 for the charities and has left me with a neat and almost empty nursery bed, no doubt to be filled again as the cuttings from the last couple of years keep growing. We’d like to thank everyone who helped us create this result.

Now we have almost finished clearing round the garden, filling a skip with long seedy grasses and perennial weeds, it should look good in the spring- ‘so natural’ people say!

There’s still the huge Eucryphias in flower and Asteranthera ovata is covered with blooms again.
