Sunshine

Not really complaining but am pleased to see it's much greyer today- the bright sunshine lifts our spirits but seems to drain the garden of colour. We had a group from the Faroe Islands on Tuesday afternoon and it was so bright it was hard to see the flowers and new foliage.

Although the garden is full of red rhododendrons (more later)- it's the blues that catch my eye- here is the Buddleia salvifolia and abutilon at the kitchen door together with a meconopsis from the rock garden.
