Eucryphia milliganii

Yesterday in the rock garden there was a terrific buzz from the little Eucryphia milliganii. Honey bees and bumbles love the nectar from the tiny cup shaped flowers and it looks lovely in the sunshine.

When I say little this is in comparison to the truly enormous E Nymansay and E x intermedia that bloom later.
