November reprise

I'm just home from hospital having my 4th and final new knee. The colours visible from the house took me outside yesterday and made walking a pleasure.

We had strong winds this past week and lots of the leaves are dropping but here are some still looking good in part such as the Davidia or in whole like the R quinquefolium where the colour seems better every day. The golden Lindera leaves are bowling around, they have real substance.

The first acer photos published are now in the past. Here are a couple in the glen in more sheltered positions. Finally Nyssa sinensis is just starting to colour and hopefully will be with us through to December.
