Primula florindae

The red form of Primula florindae seems to have taken over the gravel area behind the house- it's north facing and only gets sun in the early mornings and afternoon. I had a few pots of primulas here but now they have seeded and are coming up in their thousands with a few P alpicola mixed in!

I've sown plenty of primula seed this spring so hope to have another area with the yellow form developing soon. At this time when there's less obvious colour in the garden they're good value and last for weeks.
